Outside Sales
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-the-road role based in Denver, CO for an Outside Sales Support specialist. The Outside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth by developing and managing customer relationships within an assigned agricultural territory. This role focuses on in-person sales to growers, retailers, cooperatives, and ag businesses, with an emphasis on seed, crop inputs, and seasonal purchasing cycles. The specialist works closely with customers to understand production goals, recommend appropriate products, and secure orders throughout the year. Responsibilities include territory planning, farm and retail visits, prospecting new accounts, forecasting seasonal demand, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in outside sales, territory management, or business-to-business sales
Strong ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and comfort working independently
Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions that drive revenue
Experience managing a sales pipeline and meeting or exceeding sales goals
Comfortable with frequent local travel and in-person customer visits
Strong time management and organizational skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and basic sales reporting tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
Background in agriculture, horticulture, seed, turf, or related industries
Knowledge of seasonal buying patterns and production cycles
Experience selling to growers, retailers, landscapers, or ag suppliers
