Sand Sagebrush (Artemisia filifolia)

Sand Sagebrush is a semi-evergreen shrub with silvery-blue feather-like foliage. Inconspicuous flowers bloom in the spring and again in the fall.

Description

Aromatic perennial shrub growing from 2 to 6 feet tall. Thread-like leaves make the stems look feathery. Silvery-blue leaves smell sweetly pungent. Inconspicuous yellow flowers bloom in the spring and again in the fall if adequately watered. This sprawling shrub makes a great option for erosion control thanks to its root system. Sand Sagebrush prefers dry, sandy soils and withstands full sun; drought tolerant.
