Mountain Seed Mix

A seed mixture of grasses adapted to higher elevations. A very good mix for mountain pasture and meadows as well as soil stabilization for ski slopes and construction sites.

Characteristics: 

  • Grows 30-48 inches at full potential 
  • Great forage and hay producer

Seeding Rate:

  • New Seeding
    • Broadcast: 20-25 lbs./acre
    • Drilled: 15-20 lbs./acre
  • Overseeding
    • Broadcast: 10-15 lbs/acre
    • Drilled: 5-10 lbs./acre

Multi-Color High Altitude Mix

A mixture of low growing cool season grasses and native wildflowers. This mix is excellent from 5,000 to 9,000 feet in elevation. Wildflowers will bloom in late spring through summer and into the fall.

Characteristics:

  • Grasses Grow 8-12 inches tall.
  • Requires little to no maintenance
  • Grows well in elevations up to 10,000 feet

    • Irrigated: 40 lbs./acre
